Attorney Abigail Johnston is qualified as a Parent Coordinator in the Ninth and Eighteenth Judicial Circuits. She combines her years a family law experience, her Florida Supreme Court Family Mediation training, Collaborative Law training, and personal experience as a parent herself to assist parents in turbulence because of a divorce, paternity actions, modification, or dependency action.
Often, the Court appoints a Parent Coordinator to help to parties in high conflict to resolve child-related disagreements outside of Court, but parties can privately hire a Parent Coordinator to help them resolve conflict involving their child or children. The purpose of involving the Parent Coordinator is to reduce the amount of personal conflict surrounding the parents’ decision making, avoid further litigation, and teach the parents how to continue to work together as they raise their child or children in a new kind of family system.
Parent Coordination sessions can be held in our conveniently located Baldwin Park office. Attorney Johnston’s extensive experience as a family law attorney ensures that the parties will be handled with deliberation and care. Call our office to discuss our sliding scale for fees.
